About Me
Growing up gay in Georgia has never been simple. From a young age, I felt different, even before I could put words to what that difference was. I grew up in a culture where silence was often easier than honesty, where hiding was safer than being myself. For years, I carried the weight of fear—fear of rejection, fear of judgment, fear of never being accepted.
But slowly, courage found its way into my heart. I began to understand that being gay was not something to be ashamed of, but something to embrace with pride. Each step—whether it was coming out to a friend, being honest with myself, or standing strong in the face of misunderstanding—was a victory.
My journey has been filled with challenges, but also with moments of deep love and joy. I have learned that true strength comes from living authentically, even when the world tells you not to. I want this blog to be a reflection of that journey: the struggles, the small wins, the laughter, and the pain.
This is not just my story—it is a safe space for anyone who has felt different, anyone who has been told to hide who they are. Together, we can remind each other that we are not alone, that our voices matter, and that being gay in Georgia—or anywhere—is not just about surviving, but about living with truth and pride.
